The Paducah Area Chapter of the American Red Cross provides emergency communications and assistance to military families.

Cpt. (Ret.) Robert Burgess is the local SAF Director. You may call a caseworker at 442-3575 or after hours at 270-217-8578.dinator. n behalf of someone in the military, please have the following information available if possible:
Name of the service personnel
Service Branch and Rank
Social Security number, Date of Birth, Military Address and phone number if available.
Phone number where you can be reached.
By congressional charter, we're here to help.

- Operation Purple Family Retreats Winter 2010. Free four-day retreats set in National Parks. Open to service members and their families who have experienced deployment within the last 15 months and service person must have been home for at least 3 months prior to the beginning of the retreat. Families receive a $200 stipend per family upon arrival at the retreat for travel reimbursement. To apply: www.militaryfamily.org/retreats.
- Free Access to Caregiver Network. Sittercity Corporate Program offers military families free access to an online network of quality caregivers who can help with babysitting, dog walking, housekeepers, tutors, nannies, elder care providers.
